Summer 2018 Cocktail Dinners: "Meet the Maker"
In June, July or August, join us for dinner, meet the master distillers of locally-made Vermont spirits, and learn about their work, process and ethics. Each prix-fixe dinner features three craft cocktails, accompanied by a one-time, four-course Red Clover chef's pairing menu.
Cocktails are presented by experts and dinner is served community-style. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm; cost is $60/person, tax and gratuity are additional. Reservations required: 802.775.2290.
June 10: Stonecutter Spirits, Middlebury - Cocktails include: Hey Ladies (Single Barrel Gin, Campari, Grapefruit Juice, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup), Peach Julep (Heritage Cask Whiskey, Simple Syrup, Fresh Mint Leaves, Fresh Peaches, Bitters), and Tree's Knees (Single Barrel Gin, Fresh Lemon Juice, Maple Syrup). July 15: Vermont Spirits Distilling Co., Quechee - Cocktails include:Coppers Gimlet (Coppers Gin, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup), Hibernation (Vermont Gold Vodka, Moscato Sparkling Wine, Pear Puree), Maple Mint Julep (No. 14 Bourbon, Fresh Mint Leaves, Seltzer).
August 12: Smugglers' Notch Distillery, Cambridge - Cocktails include: Mojito (Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum, Fresh Mint Leaves, Brown Sugar, Fresh Lime, Soda Water), Blackberry Martini (Smugglers Notch Vodka, Triple Sec, Fresh Lemon Juice, Blackberry Puree), and Singapore Sling (Hopped Gin, Cherry Heering Liqueur, Benedictine, Fresh Lime Juice, Bitters, Soda Water).
