At Red Clover since: I started in September of 2012 after our sister resort, The Tyler Place Family Resort, closed for the season.
Hometown: West Windsor, Vermont
I was fortunate enough to have grown up in the area. After I graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 2007, I attended Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island graduating with a BA in Political Science in 2011. That winter I worked as a front desk attendant at The Spa at the Woodstock Inn and Resort. The summer of 2012 was my first season at the Tyler Place where I was able to work closely with the entire Tyler Family; I am thrilled to continue working for a family I respect in a place I love.
I enjoy being outside. Whether it is doing something active, like running, hiking or biking or simply enjoying the various local events and attractions in and around the area I am content.
The best part about the area: The always changing and beautiful seasons that make Mendon a great place to live. The Inn is comfortable, warm and welcoming, there is nothing not to like!
Position: Innkeeper & Server
At Red Clover since: I joined the team in July of 2013.
Hometown: Killington, Vermont
While my family is originally from Rhode Island, I am blessed to have grown up in the area and call myself a Vermonter at heart. Like Charlotte, I graduated from Woodstock Union High School in 2002, then headed to the big city of Boston where I graduated from Emerson College in 2006 with a BFA in Dance/Theater. Craving sunshine and adventure, I headed West to Los Angeles in 2008 and spent almost 5 wonderful years exploring Southern California. I returned to New England temporarily in 2010 to pursue one of my true passions at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health where I was certified as a Yoga Instructor. I became a resident of the Green Mountain State again permanently in 2012 and have loved settling back into the area. When I first joined the Red Clover team I was more of a part time personality, but I am thrilled to have found myself here as full time innkeeper and server as we head into the winter season. Outside of my time at the Clover you can find me teaching yoga, training with Killington Boot Camp, hiking or simply spending time in my sweet little town of Pittsfield.
The best part about the area: The ever changing scenery and weather – while it may be inclement sometimes, as the locals say, “If you don’t like the weather in Vermont, just wait 10 minutes. It’ll change.” I also love seeing the area both progress and grow and stay the same all at once. There is a wonderful community of hard working, crafty people here that love this state and are proud to show it off to our visitors.
