The Red Clover Inn near Killington Ski & Golf Resort is owned by the Tyler and Hill families whose summer getaway for families, The Tyler Place Family Resort in Highgate Springs, has been a destination for Vermont vacationers since 1933. We purchased the Red Clover in 2009 as a way to continue our tradition of personal hospitality combined with fine food and possibly a cocktail or two. As our guest families have grown up and moved on from Highgate (many to return with their next generation) we have heard repeatedly that they would like to see a year round property with some of our signature touches in southern Vermont. The Red Clover Inn once had the enviable reputation of being one of the finest places in the Killington area to get a good meal.
After a year long renovation we feel we have brought the property back to its former glory. The bones were certainly there: a rambling Inn, a converted carriage house, a stately farmhouse and an original dairy barn conveniently located off Route 4 and nestled in the shadow of Pico Mountain. Here is a property that could graciously meet the demand for reunions, weddings, retreats and that romantic spot for couples who appreciate fine food. It is the perfect place for our former Tyler Place guests and our new neighbors in Killington to experience the Tyler’s unique blend of friendship and service.
