For Vermont cross-country and skiing the Red Clover Inn & Restaurant is one of the best locations in Vermont.  Killington and Pico Ski Resorts are close by, as are several other centers for both beginners and experts.  The altitude is high, so the snow comes earlier and lasts longer than almost any other cross country and snowshoeing destination in New England.   Don't want to bother bringing your own or snowshoes?  We have some available for you to use.
